Title: Senior Vice President of Sales
Location: Gaffney, South Carolina
Requirements:
Bachelor degree is required.
10 years of industry experience with AT LEAST 5 years of 3PL sales
experience. Heavy logistics and contacts (3PL
logistics companies, retailers, distributors, manufacturers and wholesalers
contacts) background in Warehousing and Distribution is key.
Demonstrated experience in creating
and delivering service presentations and closing new business.
Demonstrated understanding of the
3PL market and products and opportunities, specifically related to Technology,
including highly automated distribution and pick and pack services.
The candidate must be an experienced and motivated sales person with a
proven track record of contacts with retailers, distributors, manufacturers and
wholesalers for contract and public warehousing sales. Relationships to be at
the decision maker level at perspective customers. Heavy logistics background
in warehousing and automated distribution. Candidate will be required to
initiate sales program for established 3PL company, with the goals of growing
the national 3PL related services through face-to-face contact. The candidate
should be skilled in sales, negotiating, designing ,presentations, and
supply-chain logistics. Should also have a working knowledge of PC-based
applications and Electronic Information Systems.
Responsibilities:
~ Work with senior management to
develop a sales strategy in line with company 3PL capabilities and experience.
~ Identify and meet with potential new customers to
determine 3PL service needs. Plan and conduct sales calls, including developing
a sales-call plan. Conduct face-to-face calls with customers at all levels in
their organization and following up on commitments and issues that arise during
sales calls.
~ Provide coaching, leadership and support to customer
organizations specific to 3PL sectors in order to implement and secure new
business. Ability to present at trade shows and seminars is a plus.
~ Develop and maintain a regional and national sales
and marketing plan.
~ Maintain up-to-date data base on leads, including
prompt updates of names and addresses, key contacts, phone and fax numbers in
designated software program. Create plan for follow up of leads supplied by
third parties.
~ Serve as a leader of the post sales implementation
team, including coordinating the integration of the team members and preparation
of the account specific Implementation Action Plan with the new customer.
Salary: $150K + Commission

Title: Branch Manager
Location: Miami, Florida
Requirements:
The Branch
Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering
policies and procedures for this $500 million transportation
company with overall
branch profit and loss accountability. This Branch
consists of 100 total employees with 34 trucks running 22 routes on a daily
basis. The
Branch Manager is directly responsible for the counseling, disciplining,
conduct, and evaluation of the Sales Representative, Operations Manager,
Managers/Supervisors on a daily basis.
The Branch Manager
has the overall authority for directing the operations
in making
sure corporate objectives are met.
Specific responsibilities:
1. Preparing annual operating budget for the branch
and proactively managing the
branch profit and loss statement. Anticipating, and addressing variances that
affect performance and taking action to meet objectives. Keeping costs within
specified limits or ratios. Producing profits at agreed upon levels.
2. Directing the operation of the branch (either individually or through a staff
of managers/supervisors) through .knowledge of an compliance with operating
methods and procedures, administrative rules and guidelines, applicable labor
laws and other laws, which govern or influence the business. Completing all
required records, forms, logs, etc. and submitting operating summaries as
required.
4. Recruiting, hiring, coaching, motivating, and managing the performance of
staff, including supervisory, sales and administrative staff. Rewarding,
retaining, training, disciplining, and releasing personnel as is deemed
appropriate.
5. Building teamwork while adhering to local and corporate goals, policies, and
procedures.
6. Determining the most customer responsive, cost effective manner to service
accounts. maintaining and reacting to customer service statistics and
productivity needs.
7. Developing and implementing branch marketing and sales plans in line with
agreed upon objectives and style.
9. Ensuring that customer service goals are met by all levels of employees.
Maintaining contact with customers on a regular basis.
10. Managing the risk inherent in the operation. Ensuring that no cargo is lost
or left at riskand insuring the workplace is drug free.
11. Ensuring the performance of sound maintenance of the truck fleet,
buildings, equipment, and other facilities.
Salary: $90K-$110K + Bonus up to 50%

Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree with a plus in logistics, 3PL or
transportation. 15-20 years of manufacturing, supply
chain, procurement, and distribution & transportation experience with a track
record of increasing responsibilities and a proven background in driving
profitable growth. A
demonstrated history of success in global, multi-site strategic operations and
supply chain leadership. Significant experience
maximizing the use of lean manufacturing, Just-In-Time inventory, Six Sigma, and
other Best-In-Class tools, concepts, and principles.
Preferred background is a candidate with experience predominantly from
Best-In-Class supply chain organizations with a focus on optimizing the global
manufacturing and distribution footprint.
Experience working around the world, with an understanding of various cultures.
Strong background in business and financial management.
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including but not limited
to new product development, marketing, sales, finance, and human resources.
